The
Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and
Related Disabilities (LEND)
Program,
based at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in Waltham, Massachusetts, is
designed to provide family members and clinicians in the field of
neurodevelopmental disabilities with insight and knowledge of the legislation
and policies that impact the lives of children and youth with developmental
disabilities or chronic illness and their families.
· Fellowship stipends are available to qualified
applicants who possess leadership potential and have terminal degrees in the
following disciplines:
Audiology, Genetics, Health Administration, Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Pediatrics, Pediatric Dentistry, Physical
Therapy, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, Special Education and Speech-Language
Pathology

Fellowship stipends are
available for parents or siblings who have a family member with
a disability and are interested in pursuing careers focusing on disability legislation,
policy or system change.
· Applicants should have experience working with children and
youth with disabilities or
chronic illness and their families.
· Applicants should possess leadership potential.
· Qualified applicants may have their LEND coursework credited
towards a Master in
Health
Administration (MHA) or Public Administration (MPA) from

week (Thursday

and Friday) on site over a 10-month period.
